Going from young to older...

Jamie Moyer became the oldest pitcher to ever throw a shutout in the major leagues on Friday, May 7th, beating the Atlanta Braves 7-0.

Of course, Jamie, being an ex-Cub, is another player I've followed ever since he left Chicago and became a successful pitcher. He was only a Cub for three years at the start of his career, 1986-1988. Plus the fact that he's a left-handed pitcher.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Way to go, Jamie!!!
